Case Management
Son of a Saint's Case Team is comprised of licensed social workers. They are a major catalyst for transforming obstacles into opportunities, empowering our mentees and their guardians to navigate life's complexities with the knowledge that they are supported.
The case management team identifies and addresses the specific needs of each mentee. This hands-on guidance ensures that no aspect of a boy's development is left unattended, creating a tailored roadmap for success.
Mental Health
Adolescence is a critical period of emotional development, and providing access to mental health services ensures that our mentees can develop resilience and emotional strength, empowering them with stability and awareness.
Our mental health team is made up of licensed counselors who provide therapy sessions and workshops for our boys. In recognizing the interplay between mental well-being and overall success, Son of a Saint seeks to give them the tools to face life with a solid foundation of self-worth and confidence.
Nutrition
The nutrition programs serve as a platform for education and skill-building. Mentees are not just recipients of meals; they actively engage in learning about nutrition, cooking, and cultivating healthy habits. We seek to not only address immediate physical needs but also impart valuable knowledge about the role of nutrition in cognitive function, energy levels, and emotional stability.
Academic Opportunity
Education opens doors to a brighter future. Through tutoring, homework support, and enrichment programs, we help boys build strong study habits and gain the confidence to excel in the classroom. In School Advocacy
Our success team partners with schools and families to ensure each boy has the resources and support he needs to thrive in the classroom. From attending meetings with guardians and teachers to addressing academic and behavioral challenges, they serve as advocates who bridge communication and build trust. By working alongside educators and caregivers, we create a network of support that helps boys stay engaged, supported, and set up for success.
Academic Intervention
When a boy begins to fall behind, quick action can make all the difference. Our team works directly with teachers, school staff, and families to identify issues—like slipping grades, attendance concerns, or behavioral challenges. We create a clear plan for improvement. Through targeted tutoring, progress tracking, and regular check-ins, we help boys regain the motivation they need to succeed in school and beyond.
College Prep
Preparing for life after high school is about more than grades—it’s about confidence and clarity. Our college prep program offers hands-on support through every step of the journey, including test preparation, college tours, and guidance on applications and financial aid. With personalized advising and real-world experiences, we help boys explore their options, set ambitious goals, and step onto campus ready to succeed.
